Stories telling how people's lives in informal settlements in Bangladesh and India are affected by the pandemic and climate emergency.

In both Bangladesh and India, approximately 45% of the urban population are in informal settlements. The Covid-19 pandemic has had a significant impact on the dwellers living in informal settlements as many are facing difficulties for survival. This joint lecture presents the sanitation and living conditions in both Bangladesh and India related to people’s daily routines and discusses how the lives in informal settlements have been affected by the pandemic and climate emergency.
